For more information, please contact Lynn Bailey at lbailey@tci-la.com.┬ As a UNIX Systems Administrator, you will: Under direct supervision of the UNIX Systems Manager, provision, install, configure, operate, support and maintain systems hardware, software and related infrastructure including: Storage and backup/restore process administration Backup and recovery systems implementation and maintenance UNIX and/or Linux systems design, architecture, and support SAN and NAS design, architecture, and support Active Disaster recovery plan Analyze tasks, identify for automation, and automate them Identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draws sound conclusions towards resolution Work closely and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams What Gets You the Job? In-depth knowledge of┬ UNIX or Linux-based operating system fundamentals┬ (2 to 4 years' overall experience)┬ 2+ years of┬ experience with┬ RedHat┬ or SUSE Linux┬ ┬ Functional knowledge of networking, distributed computing, environment, routing, and the design of consistent network-wide file system layout design┬ ┬ Minimum 2 years' experience managing┬ 70+ server environments┬ ┬ 1+ years of┬ experience working with┬ NetBackup┬ software┬

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
