The next course is set to commence at the beginning of October.
The instructor is tasked with providing students with an understanding of (MRI) Cross Sectional Anatomy.
Responsibilities include assisting in course development, creating effective teaching and learning strategies, adjusting instructional methods to cater to diverse student needs, delivering subject matter, offering feedback, crafting lesson plans, conducting teaching sessions, assessing student progress, and grading assignments.
This role further involves setting clear and equitable expectations, maintaining a positive attitude, and practicing patience when interacting with students.
MRI 224 Cross Sectional Anatomy This course is the study of MRI cross sectional normal and abnormal anatomy, known as pathology.
The course will demonstrate and educate the student on the correlation of the study of MRI cross-sectional anatomy.
This course allows logical and transitional time for the student to evaluate the different anatomic regions in the human body.
In MRI 224 the following anatomic regions are explored:
Head and Soft Tissue Neck CNS:
Central Nervous System (brain and spine) Thorax and Mediastinum (Thoracic Cavity, Heart, and Breast) Abdomen Pelvis Musculoskeletal Upper Extremity (Shoulder, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand Lower Extremity (hip, thigh, knee, leg, ankle, and foot) This course will familiarize the student with the Common Pathologies found in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and their appearance with various imaging protocols.
The content will encompass all of the common Anatomic Regions evaluated in the Anatomy component.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Teach students in assigned classes in accordance with course descriptions and/or learning outcomes, the course syllabus, and institutional policies and procedures.
Certify student attendance in classes by the established deadlines.
Maintain accurate and complete course records.
Submit final grades by the established deadlines.
Communicate with and provide feedback to students in a timely fashion.
Participate in the review of curricula and selection of instructional materials within the department.
Participate in required program reviews and the achievement of departmental goals.
Use knowledge of diverse communities and skill sets to diversify teaching methods and delivery of content in instruction.
Provide effective instruction to facilitate student learning in all classes taught.
Evaluate and assess student learning on a regular basis in all classes taught.
Participate in assessment activities at course, department, and college levels to assist students in achieving designated course objectives or learning outcomes.
Use appropriate technologies to enhance classroom or online instruction and to achieve established course objectives or learning outcomes.
Regularly evaluate teaching methods and continually improve instructional strategies.
Maintain knowledge and competence in the appropriate academic discipline or workforce field.
Maintain any required professional certification or licensure in the appropriate academic or technical discipline, where appropriate Remain current with technological and pedagogical advances that promote continuous improvement of student learning.
Participate in a variety of professional development activities.
Participate in one's own performance review and evaluation.
Attend required commencement/graduation ceremonies.
Perform other duties mutually agreed upon in consultation with Program Director MINIMUM DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Educational Experience and Qualifications Associates Degree A minimum of three years of occupational experience in the subject field or in a closely related field; and, Active certification, license, or other designations as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the field.
Demonstrated teaching experience in online and residential classroom.
Utilization of innovative teaching methods incorporating technology, including on-line resources Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service Highly organized and committed with strong prioritization and time management skills.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Ability to effectively use computer and information technology.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Strong oral and written communication proficiency Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work flexible schedule be professional in all aspects of the position including appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong work-ethic creativity and initiative.
