Responsibilities:
- Spanish speaker preferred - Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents - Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Familiarity with dental receptionist duties and dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus - Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required Note:
