Candidates should be organized with a high level of attention to detail, to assist our medical supply company in Intaking Orders, Verifying Insurance Eligibility, and Assisting with Accounts Receivable.
Training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn, strong work ethic, someone who takes pride in their works and has an interest in professional development and growth.
We are aware that some of these responsibilities will be new to applicants, therefore training and collaboration will be made available to new hires.
Responsibilities Taking Phone and Email Orders from Clients, Gathering pertinent information necessary to intake and create the patient record Inputting Orders into our software (Brightree) Verifying Insurance Eligibility Obtaining Insurance Authorizations Following up with patients from admission to discharge Coordination of orders and prepare orders for the billing department Handling Patient grievances (as needed) Assisting Patients with Hardship Waivers (as needed) General Administrative work (as needed) Running Pre-set monthly reports to review with supervisor Skills Keen eye for detail and ability to quickly spot mistakes and deliver accurate work Quick learner Working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate with upset customers or healthcare agencies
Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Preferred) GED or High School Equivalent (Preferred) Job Type:
