Quick Apply Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description The Help Group, through its many specialized clinical and educational programs, provides assistance to children and families within their communities through its Child and Family Center therapeutic and educational programs.
The Help Group Child and Family Center, one of the largest mental health providers in Los Angeles County, has provided services through the Department of Children and Family Services and Department of Mental Health (DMH) since 1985.
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in related field required (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education or Human Services) Strong social and communication skills, verbal and written, to work with and within the multidisciplinary treatment team and ability to flex work schedule to accommodate client needs Ability to collaborate with community partners and develop, coordinate and oversee supportive resources for clients benefit.
Qualifying candidate must have had former personal experience interacting with the system, such as DCFS, DMH, Foster Care, Child Protective Services, Probation, Regional Center, Welfare Services, Food Stamps, or similar services either themselves or with youth under their care.
Valid CA Drivers license with clean driving record and auto insurance, must be willing to drive in the community when needed.
Bilingual Spanish Skills Required.

Provide case Management Services to children and their families, including the identification and pursuant of resources necessary and appropriate to meet client needs.
Assist therapists in obtaining outcome measures and other documents as assigned Secure adequate and appropriate living arrangements, vocational activities, schooling and mental health services.
Provide assessments and complete administrative intakes on all new patients.
